The Henderson Fire Department's goal is to maintain at greater than 90%, structure fires that are confined to the defined area of origin based on conditions at time of arrival. The 2020 opening of a new Fire Station in the east area (Hidden Falls at Horizon and Horizon Ridge) helps to keep the property and economic damages of fires in all areas to a minimum by reducing overall response times.

Nevada State Performance Framework (NSPF) star ratings were last calculated and reported by the Nevada Department of Education (NDE) for the 2018-19 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school years, star ratings were carried forward from 2018-19. For the 2021-22 school year, star ratings were calculated based on index scores reported by NDE.

The City of Henderson Police Department became NIBRS certified in 2020 before the January 1, 2021 deadline mandated by the FBI who compiles and publishes the Uniform Crime Report. The FBI requires all law enforcement agencies reporting crime statistics to utilize NIBRS standards and methodology instead of the previous Summary Reporting System (SRS) which was used by the City of Henderson from 1953 to 2020.

KPI: Increase average ACT Scores by 1 point among Henderson High School Juniors

This is the incremental assessed value of all parcels located within a specific redevelopment area as assessed by the Clark County Assessor. Increases in assessed property value can be attributed to the focused efforts, activities, and public/private investment within a designated redevelopment area. Higher assessed values are a positive indicator of improvements, neighborhood desirability, and a strong economy.
