The number of permit and plan submittal volumes and the proportion of those submittals that are submitted electronically are compared. Currently, 100% of the permits and plans submitted are filed electronically. Volumes are updated and reviewed monthly for general operations reviews.

The city began the process of accepting limited electronic plans in 2018 and expanded the scope of permit types in 2019. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the city quickly implemented 100 percent on-line plans submittal and review to ensure continuity of business operations for the development community.

The Henderson Fire Department measures response time performance at the 90th percentile in accordance with national standards. Our goal is to reduce baseline response times by 30 seconds as we work toward achieving the National Fire Protection Association's (NFPA) standards. The NFPA recommends response times meet 6 minutes and 30 seconds for emergency medical incidents.
