Emergency preparedness is essential to reduce the overall effects of natural, technological, or human-caused disasters on the community. The City has achieved great success over the past several years by engaging residents in award-winning preparedness programs and preparing the entire community in disaster response; however, the City will continue to focus on this area to maintain these high standards.
